We're very proud to announce that our first community based project has been decided and that is the construction of a West Memphis recreation center for all residents, veterans and youth alike. This will be a no charge facility with an indoor swimming pool, and a place where of course everyone is welcome. We aim to begin fundraising efforts for this project May 15th 2011 after our 501 c3 status is complete.
For all of those who have stepped forward and shared with us your thoughts and concerns, via email we wish to extend to you a very heartfelt thanks. At our inaugural town hall meeting in December, (more details on this will be following) we're going to be discussing a wide variety of issues that impact the lives of everyday people like you and I. It's at this meeting where YOUR voice will take center stage...(particularly in the West Memphis area.) Right now, we like to refer to this as the first phase of operations for a better Arkansas...because we're in the process of gathering the thoughts and ideas of many a concerned residents alike.
