Our Mission

At "Residents 4 Arkansas" our mission is to help improve the rural and metropolitan communities of Arkansas by working with individuals in neighborhoods to solve their problems. Our primary goal is to give residents a loud voice by assessing the needs of individuals and families young and old alike, thus giving them the tools to work for REAL improvement!

Taking BACK West Memphis!

Taking back WEST MEMPHIS one STREET at a time

To ALL those who market their filthy drugs on our fair streets; we at "Residents 4 Arkansas" wish to say this; "If YOU want to peddle your raw sewage and bring crime into West Memphis, then realize that you're GOING to suffer the resulting legal consequences. For far TOO long, a blind eye has been turned towards certain inappropriate actions within our city, and quite frankly we, the RESIDENTS have HAD enough. First, we're going to lobby to TEAR down those abandoned buildings, because as COWARDS that's where YOU hide and conduct the majority of your shady business. Secondly, we're going to lobby to IMPROVE the quality and image of our police force. The keys to the future success of our region and county reside in our ability to unite for a common goal and a BETTER WEST MEMPHIS AND STRONGER STATE is what we have in mind.

We as a Non Profit organization see an economically stable, robust and culturally tolerant city in the NOT so distant

future. We realize that some people may laugh, saying that it's "ONLY a pipe dream." but ONE of the ways to accomplish this as a struggling city is to analyze just WHERE your tax dollars are going and move to quickly stem that flow of waste. When we mean analyze, we're speaking of tracking EVERY cent....EVERY nickel.......EVERY....dime. Is it SO hard to find out where EXACTLY YOUR money goes, and how it's being used? We believe NOT, and we believe that the time has come for ALL to work together in the pursuit of a BETTER West Memphis. It starts with YOUR voice, OUR willingness to get involved and work together DESPITE the color of our skin! The time has come to move West Memphis, and the state of Arkansas into the 21st CENTURY, and that train has ALREADY left the station! The simple question remains, are you aboard?
