For those of you whom are familiar with our district, West Memphis should ring a loud bell. Mr. Rogers is a lifelong resident of the West Memphis area, and attended high school in West Memphis. He was born on June 8th 1979. He’s also a small business owner within the city and he attended and graduated college at the; University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. Coincidentally enough, he majored in Business Administration. He’s also married and has four children, and his wife works for Mid South Community College. Within the last ten years he has also worked in Washington D.C. with former Senator Blanche Lincoln as an assistant. Mr. Rogers views the experience gained in working with the senator as a very valuable thing, especially in his ability to connect and reach out to members of other political parties. If elected, he wants to work with the local college to find new and innovative ways to attain and keep the younger people in our area. He has a particular interest in the field of Renewable Energy Technology, “Green” jobs and he wants to use his small business skills to help lure more of this growing industry into our area.
Office running for: 54th District, Arkansas House of Representatives
